The Maldives

A tropical wonderland in the exotic Indian Ocean

Made up of 1,190 coral islands, the remote equatorial archipelago of Maldives is the ideal setting for romance, relaxation and fun in the sun. Known for the abundant sea life contained within the pristine lagoons and protective coral reefs, the Maldives is a diver’s paradise. Immaculate white sandy beaches are an ideal escape for the surfer and sun worshiper alike. If you’re inspired by romance, the radiant Maldives sunsets will provide a breathtaking backdrop while you create memories that will last a lifetime.

Of the 1190 islands only about 200 are inhabited. More than 1/3 of the population live in Male and the Male’ region  (the capital), but there are small village islands, local islands, scattered throughout the country.

With the combination of interesting villages, tropical weather, sun-soaked sparkling beaches, some really exciting water sports and plenty of unique marine life, it’s undeniable that Maldives is an ideal place for holidaying.

Guesthouse tourism is quickly picking up and becoming an interesting alternative for the cost conscious traveller.

It is now fast becoming a popular type of accommodation in this resort-dominated tropical destination; an independent, friendly holiday option that costs less than resorts.

In guesthouses like ours, you would be able stay on an outstanding local island where you can discover the true Maldivian life & culture.

The gorgeous, turquoise lagoons and powdery white sand that the Maldives is famous is still yours to discover whilst staying with us.

We provide access to similar types of activities that resorts offer, at the same standards, including deserted island exploration, fishing, beach BBQs, snorkeling and other watersports.

The facilities are modern with traditional touches and cater to the usual conveniences you expect during a tropical holiday.
